General description of the second cycle basic area (5th to 8th grade)

The second cycle of basic education aims to develop well-rounded students with an emphasis on bilingual English-Spanish learning. It seeks to consolidate fundamental attitudes and values, as well as the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for life and thrive in a changing society, enabling them to plan effectively for the future. The education provided within the classrooms and the school is based on strong values, emphasizing responsibility, teamwork, commitment, respect, flexibility, tolerance, proactivity, autonomy, solidarity, positive leadership, self-discipline, and a strong sense of identity.
