Kindergarten Celebrates 100 Days of School!

Our Kindergarten students marked their 100th day of school by leading a special Morning Announcement and hosting their traditional “100 Objects” exhibition in the Early Childhood GYM.

On Wednesday, August 19th, all of Early Childhood gathered for an Announcement filled with joy as students practiced counting by tens, enjoyed dance and musical performances by Kindergarten, and recited the poem “The 100th Day.”

On Thursday, August 20th, and Friday, August 21st, Kindergarteners put their collection projects on display: toy cars, insects, Pokémon cards, hair ties, flowers, candies, and more filled the gym. The exhibit was visited by students across Early Childhood, as well as Pre-K and Kindergarten parents.

Friday brought an extra-special visit from our TJSS Seniors, who came to reminisce about their own 100-day projects from years past. During the visit, the Seniors also met their little “buddies” (ahijados) for the first time, kicking off a semester full of shared activities and fun.

Congratulations to our youngest learners on reaching 100 days of learning and 100 days of growing!
