SIMCE 2025: Results of The Thomas Jefferson STEM School

The Ministry of Education published the results of the 2025 SIMCE test, which included Language and Mathematics tests for students in grades 4, 8 and 10. Eighth-grade students also took the History test.

According to the results, on average, TJSS scored 23 points higher than the national average for schools with similar characteristics. Compared to the previous SIMCE test, our school improved by 10 points.

It is also noteworthy that our 10 grade students achieved a record score in Mathematics, reaching 375 points, which is 42 points above the national average.

The results are as follows:

4th Grade 2025

  • Language and Communication: 327 points
  • Mathematics: 306 points

8th Grade 2025

  • Language and Communication: 292 points
  • Mathematics: 336 points
  • History: 299 points

10th Grade 2025

  • Language and Communication: 309 points
  • Mathematics: 375 points
