Our school, The Thomas Jefferson STEM School, was founded in February 1992 by Gregory Trzebiatowski Brychell, a professional educator.
He received his primary education in Wisconsin public schools. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a PhD in Education from Michigan State University, thanks to a scholarship awarded by the National Defense Education Act.
In Chile, Dr. Trzebiatowski served for ten years as an advisor in various faculties and departments at the University of Concepción (currently an Honorary Member of the Faculty of Medicine). This experience motivated him and led to his decision to move to our country to implement the ideas and projects that led him to found TJSS.
